14:17 tacokoneko I am a current user of the non-SDL Linux irrlicht device. In my opinion, you can feel free to remove it if it makes development easier and improves luanti. do not worry about me - if SDL becomes mandatory, I will just figure out how to get it to work for me and not bother upstream at all about it.
