19:19 cheapie   Currently trying to get 5.14-dev running on an Athlon XP, not because I expect it to actually be playable but just because I want to see what happens :P
19:20 cheapie   First attempt crashed upon hitting an SSE2 instruction in OpenAL, rebuilt with no sound and tried again, second attempt briefly opened a window but then crashed upon hitting an SSE2 instruction in LuaJIT. Rebuilding now without LuaJIT :P

19:26 cheapie   This is on modern-ish Linux by the way, Debian 12 - their build of Firefox actually works on this hardware which kind of surprised me (must be compiled with a different march from the official Windows builds), if taking multiple minutes to render one page counts as "working"

21:05 cheapie   They work with a command block that does a bunch of player:add_velocity() stuff to push you up/down the slope, but if you're flying and trigger the pressure plate several times, then stop flying, it applies several times the velocity it's meant to (since it's running multiple times at once on the same player)
21:08 cheapie   The down one at Nacional will, if triggered enough times, send you flying out the door, across the street, through an empty lot, across the next street over, through the parking lot of Food Warehouse Sales, off a cliff and over a highway and railroad tracks, through the back of a K-Farm store, through the Bonnthalbus bus depot, and then you'll eventually come to a stop when you hit the side of the old jail about 350m away from where you started.
