That said, it might be possible to "upgrade" our adaption of the CC-BY-SA 3.0 lua_api.txt to 4.0: https://opensource.stackexchange.com/questions/7430/can-i-upgrade-the-version-of-cc-by-sa-from-3-0-to-4-0-in-my-modification. Then we could upgrade CC-BY 4.0 to CC-BY-SA 4.0 and be happy.
