04:11 lhofhansl sfan5: Not sure if you are planning to rewrite the shadow shader logic... Until then, I was thinking, maybe we don't do that array texture optimization for transparent tiles/textures. (at least when shadows are enabled). That might be a step on the way.

07:35 sfan5 ~tell lhofhansl problem is that it's still UB to apply the wrong sampler to a texture. it just happens to return opaque black.
