03:54 Noisytoot I usually reencode to av1 before uploading (although it can take a long time since I don't have hardware av1 encoding)
03:55 Noisytoot svt-av1 is surprisingly fast actually, much faster than libvpx/libvpx-vp9

10:06 MTDiscord <andrey2470t> My browser is Chrome and it is impossible neither to play nor download it. I can try on another one however

19:59 MTDiscord <paradust> sfan5: I'd like to understand why you prefer usrsctp over quic. Have you written anything about this?

21:31 sfan5 i don't really and I haven't looked into either in detail.
21:33 sfan5 if someone asked me to come up with a replacement I would just say usrsctp because I know it has all the things luanti needs (minus encryption)
21:33 sfan5 if you *have* looked into both and found why quic is better I'm all ears
21:34 MTDiscord <prolller> make benchmarks first please with various concurrency/packet size/etc
22:39 cheapie Noisytoot: FWIW my usual response to people giving me a hard time about video codecs is to reply with the video encoded in Cinepak
