wsor4035: Might want to look into https://github.com/mt-mods/mail/actions/runs/38187067825/job/114611577902#step:4:21 The only changes made in that commit were made with `flint format`, `flint compress` and myself adding `flint.yml` and `flint.toml`. |

<wsor4035> i would guess flint format made the line to long? maybe? |
| 00:18 |
MTDiscord |
<wsor4035> just eyeballing, havent really read it yet |
| 00:18 |
Sheriff_U3 |
That's my guess. At least flint is happy though. |
| 00:20 |
Sheriff_U3 |
Hmm that line is part of a formspec string. |

<wsor4035> https://github.com/mt-mods/mail/commit/af64533f59d8679dd067ab3616254bffd4718649#diff-bf22561abc9ceb6e09d65bc0227c8b76975bd68d5f72d6cc256a6173d32f95a5L76-R76 yeah, would say its from the format |
| 00:23 |
MTDiscord |
<wsor4035> https://github.com/JohnnyMorganz/StyLua#options has a column_width of 120 by default 🤔 |
| 00:23 |
MTDiscord |
<wsor4035> > Approximate line length for printing. Used as a guide for line wrapping - this is not a hard requirement: lines may fall under or over the limit. .....how nice |
| 00:23 |
MTDiscord |
<wsor4035> i suppose you could tune it down till its under 120, but thats dumb |
| 00:24 |
Sheriff_U3 |
It's only 50+ over lol. |
| 00:25 |
MTDiscord |
<wsor4035> someone did file an issue for going over https://github.com/JohnnyMorganz/StyLua/issues/1104 |
| 00:26 |
MTDiscord |
<wsor4035> maybe worth testing it direct, and then if its still an issue (cutting flint out of the equation), fileing an issue with stylua? |
| 00:27 |

👍️ |
| 00:28 |
MTDiscord |
<wsor4035> for now, you can add -- luacheck: push ignore 542 above it, which should make luacheck happy |
| 00:28 |
MTDiscord |
<wsor4035> at least so says ai, because im to lazy to look up if that number is correct |
| 00:30 |
Sheriff_U3 |
Just ran my install of Stylua on it with the `--verify` flag, it outputs the same. |
| 00:30 |
MTDiscord |
<wsor4035> then yeah, would throw the comment in for now and file an issue |
| 00:35 |
MTDiscord |
<wsor4035> it is a question of contribution upstream support to match luacheck, adding our own rules, etc. i would say for now im not aiming to replace luacheck, just supplement it. course if you just want to use one, flint is fine |
| 00:36 |
MTDiscord |
<wsor4035> plus selene has stuff luacheck doesnt, so.... 🤷 |
| 00:41 |
Sheriff_U3 |
btw the correct error code is 631, for future reference you can run luacheck with `--codes` to see what code each error/warning is. |
| 00:42 |
Sheriff_U3 |
My AI came up with the same answer as yours :) |
| 00:43 |
MTDiscord |
<wsor4035> another reason to like selene, it uses actual understandable names for rules instead of numbers..... |
| 00:44 |
Sheriff_U3 |
There's probably some reasoning behind luacheck's error codes, but who has time to learn what they mean lol. |
| 00:45 |
Sheriff_U3 |
Are you gonna open the issue on StyLua? I'm able to right now if your not already on it. |
| 00:45 |
MTDiscord |
<wsor4035> oh, i thought you where doing it |
| 00:45 |
MTDiscord |
<wsor4035> go for it |
| 00:46 |
Sheriff_U3 |
ok just wanted to make sure before they had duplicate issues :). |

<.zenonseth> hm the luanti docs repo doesn't auto track when commits land in flint/luma right? or does it? do i have to make manual update pr? |
| 19:50 |
MTDiscord |
<.zenonseth> texture pack updates via cli (posting like i have been before to keep a record) https://github.com/luanti-org/luma/pull/26 |

Something I found while searching the web... https://flint.fyi/about/ |
| 23:52 |
MTDiscord |
<wsor4035> how do i say this nicely |
| 23:53 |
MTDiscord |
<wsor4035> .....given its in typescript, it doesnt have speed. and since biome and ox family of tools have popularity and are are fast/rust. not to worried about it |
| 23:53 |
MTDiscord |
<wsor4035> but also there is truely nothing new under the sun |
| 23:54 |
MTDiscord |
<wsor4035> they do have the historical placement tho |
