14:53 rubenwardy Hello docs team, have you put any thought into translations? Perhaps not for all documentation, but for getting started and user guides at least
15:07 MTDiscord <wsor4035> ..... https://github.com/luanti-org/docs.luanti.org/issues/209
15:07 MTDiscord <wsor4035> also there is some chat that may or may not be relevant somehere in this channel. tho i wouldnt bother searching for it
15:16 MTDiscord <wsor4035> well i did some researching, and dunno if i ever said it. but a vague idea to spliting up content into chunks (to avoid forking the content) is to break chunks by heading, and feed each section to weblate for translationg, and then on each commit if a section is updated, mark it as need retranslated in weblate or something like that and use the english section till its updated
15:17 MTDiscord <wsor4035> but that was just a fly kicking around in my brain idea, wanted to look at see if there was any tooling along those lines rather than building our own and re inventing the wheel, etc.
15:18 MTDiscord <wsor4035> the overaching goal tho is to avoid "forking" the content into another language and it growing outdated as that was an issue the old wiki had
