Try visiting content.luanti.org or servers.luanti.org in a browser, if it doesn't work for you there either then it's an issue with your network |

I just updated to ubuntu 24.10 and this shit happening, getting curl timeout even with 100,000ms! Opening the same link shown in terminal with chrome works fine! So I doubt it? |

They're shipping a really old version (5.8), that version may struggle with the redirects, I didn't pay much attention to that. |

You can try changing (in settings, I think 5.8 has this) the ContentDB URL to "https://content.luanti.org" and the server list URL to "https://servers.luanti.org", see if it works like that |

I haven't looked to see what it fetches for ContentDB, but the exact URL it uses for the server list is, IIRC, https://servers.luanti.org/list - should return a giant blob of JSON with all of the server info |
