I think that's the first time I've ever *accidentally* had celevator go into nudging - I was holding the door on one car open for a bit while I waited for another car that was on its way to arrive (as I wanted to do something with that, then continue in the first car). Held it open a bit too long I guess, and BZZZZZZZZZ :P |

I'd love to make it where the door open/close buttons have to be held down when in fire service (as per the actual standards) but AFAIK there's currently no way to detect that in a formspec |

Same goes for the machine room inspection controls. Car top inspection does have working constant-pressure control though - that doesn't use a formspec, so I just watch player:get_player_control() and assume they're holding it until I see 'place' become false |

jonadab: Currently it doesn't require power in the first place, although you could certainly do something very similar by wiring up some sort of "loss of power" signal to a mesecons input set to trigger fire recall |
