I'm just using vanilla MTG with no mods and the v7 mapgen. I even looked in the whatever.mt config file for anything that might say anything about disabling lava, but didn't find anything. |

I'm not sure it's a "problem" per se. I just remember from earlier versions of (I'm guessing) the mapgen, it seemed like lava was pretty much anywhere. But in my current v7 game, I can't seem to find any lava. |

I've dug well below -1300 (and back up from -1300, twice) and found none so far. |

I'd imagine the advice to "keep digging" is pretty much guaranteed to pay off eventually, though. If there's not any better answer than that, I'm happy to just keep digging. |
