muurkha: The VPS that ShadowBot is on seems to be having some issues with latency spikes and I guess it processed several minute's worth of messages all at once and it looked like a flood. |

why can't I edit a sign's text once it's been placed? That's like a basic feature of modded MTG.. but I'm guessing "because Minecraft is like that"? |

some servers have plugins that allow editing, but in vanilla you need to destroy the sign and then replace it |

I'm sure it's compat issue. Try to use registered biomes, which MCL registers. Can't figure the correct mod chain for mapgen aliases, base stone, water nodes, and biome defs. |
