09:08 luatic btw, irrelevant for 5.13, but thought i should maybe share: i've been working on skinned mesh writers (b3d and gltf) recently, the idea being that
09:08 luatic (1) if we can convert b3d to gltf and vice versa, we might be able to improve gltf adoption and ease transition;
09:08 luatic (2) in the long run i think we should be able to write skinned meshes, just as we are able to write images, otherwise file format complexity will be a major deterrent for procedurally generated skinned meshes despite features like dynamic media.

09:17 luatic for (1), a standalone tool would suffice and probably be ideal. for (2) it should be integrated into the server, but that can come later.
09:17 luatic right now i have just hackily integrated it into luanti because it turns out luanti and irrlichtmt have become a bit entangled: irrlichtmt depends on luanti utils to link.
