01:57 user333_ i use a client that runs on a server and is accessed with a web browser, so it loads fast and doesn't require anything to be installed on the computer you access it from (other than a web browser ofc)

19:05 cheapie user333_: opengl3 is the default now, it formats that text differently and also performs way better, sometimes an order of magnitude better, than the opengl driver ever did, ever since sfan5's array textures got merged

19:12 Krock The opengl3 driver requires OpenGL 3.2, and does not use newer features from what I am aware of.
19:13 Krock the opengl driver used to work on OpenGL 1.2 upwards, but now 2.1 or so is required due to shaders.

23:22 ireallyhateirc the entire concept of a modding base is wicked. Usually it works like this: people find a game cool and want to add features to it so they add mods. This requires a game which has a decent base gameplay.
