newbie here, challenged looking at sub games available in game. Is there a primary subgame for tech related general play with machines, power, pipes etc? |

All the content in the in game menu should be compatible, but there is probably a lot of content that isn't on there. |

in general, -dev packages are needed to compile stuff (minetest in this case) |

luajit is a faster Lua interpreter with JIT compiler, ncurses is a terminal management library (used for the server console only AFAIK), postgresql is a SQL database server, leveldb is another kind of database, redis is another, and doxygen is for creating docs |
