I'm trying to install the tutorial game on my mac. I installed minetest on my mac through binary and not through home-brew. I followed the instructions, but I don't think minetest is looking for it. |

nepugia, I'm not sure... I installed minetest on a VM and it worked just fine. However, the mac binary doesn't create the .minetest directory, I had to do it myself. So that maybe? |

Hello again everyone! Finally got MT to work on NetBSD! Except for some reason I can't connect to any servers. Does Minetest do something special other than CURL that I am somehow missing? I should mention that I can ping and curl the servers outside of Minetest but not inside and Debian Minetest has no problems with it. Thanks! |

truth is: all of that is much cooler with actual players instead of npc, a server full of players is always better then one with smart fancy npcs, see eve online as an example for player driven politics, economy, etc |
