16:46 SwissalpS have made barter table in currency mod expire so as not to be griefable. git@github.com:SwissalpS/currency.git
16:46 SwissalpS having trouble to PR the changes from github to gitlab
16:48 SwissalpS also created another position HUD and tool to show mapblocks: git@github.com:SwissalpS/postool.git was not able to make a page on forum

17:44 MinetestBot Astrobe: Jan-28 22:01 UTC <LoneWolfHT> Steel swords don't wear out for me, same for steel pickaxes, although I see the wear bar flash in and out of existence with that. Tested on latest master and 5.1.1

17:59 Astrobe Krock, another person confirmed the wearing problem yesterday in another context. They add they see the wear happening and disappear.
18:00 Astrobe I made a quick search on set_wear and add_wear (negative values) on my whole tree, nothing to report.
18:00 Astrobe So it looks like the tool may be replaced by a brand new one?
18:02 Krock does it get replaced for each damage, or after it's supposed to be broken?
18:04 Astrobe Well that's just a hypothesis. And yes, for each damage.
18:05 Astrobe I would make the test with MTG, but there's no entity to bully there.
18:06 Astrobe Krock, another person confirmed the wearing problem yesterday in another context. They add they see the wear happening and disappear.I think.
18:06 Astrobe sry

18:43 Astrobe I have copy/pasted the code into one of my mods I am sure is loaded, no change.
18:45 Astrobe I am more interested to know if it is an engine problem than in a solution, actually.
18:46 Astrobe No player will complain that their weapons don"t wear out because of combat ;-)
18:46 Krock I was using a mese sword in MTG, punching a dropped item many times. The sword definitely wears out as intended
18:46 sagax joined #minetest
18:46 Astrobe I made the test with a broze sword, will try with mese too.
18:46 Krock definitely not an engine problem if it works like this. I'd rather assume there's another mod overwriting it
18:47 Krock bronze works too. 5.2.0-dev.
18:50 Astrobe I confirm it does wear out when punching a dropped apple, but not with mobs.
18:51 Krock mobs issue
18:56 Astrobe But I have added the punch_attack_uses in the swords definitions, and I have removed the code in mobs redo that deals with weapon wear.
18:56 Astrobe Maybe I should ask people on the forum if they see the same problem at this point.
18:57 Astrobe don't want to bug you forever with that.

21:22 mazes_80 Hi, how to report bugs on "notabug" ?
21:23 sfan5 minetest does not have a repository on notabug, or if it does it might just be a mirror
21:23 mazes_80 it's about mods, not about the engine
21:24 mazes_80 sorry for my lack of details

23:09 SwissalpS posting a url to your repo/gist does not work?
