10:07 BadGuyAlex haven't played the game for a... long time so I can't say a lot what is my experience now, but I played it in the past and I wasn't quite happy about the direction the development was going. Many features much needed by the modding community were... well... neglected, to put it mildly. "Pull requests are welcome" devs said. Or worse: wontfix.

10:11 cheapie BadGuyAlex: There's been a trend over the past few releases to give modders more control at the expense of the player, perhaps that's what you're seeing
10:15 BadGuyAlex Tried Minetest in 2011 butat the time it felt like a rough tech demonstration. Tried in 2015 and I was excited at first (hey, it has got Lua scripting now) but then disenchanted (X feature impossible to script, Y information not exposed, feature Z is clearly buggy with easy fix but has to be kept that way for compatibility reasons etc.). Again,
